Description:
We are seeking an experienced Linux Test Automation Developer to play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of next-generation embedded and infrastructure management solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, maintain, and execute validation environments for Embedded Linux and firmware platforms.
Develop and implement automated tests for kernel components, device drivers, and user-space applications.
Perform system-level performance, stability, stress, and scalability testing.
Investigate failures, analyze logs, debug software and firmware issues, and provide root-cause analysis.
Collaborate closely with software, firmware, hardware, and systems engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, validation reports, and technical documentation.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience with C/C++ development in Linux environments
Strong experience with Linux systems, including kernel components, device drivers, user-space applications, and the boot process
Hands-on experience with embedded systems, hardware platforms, and low-level hardware interfaces
Proven experience developing automated test and validation solutions
Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills using tools such as gdb, strace, ftrace, perf, and JTAG
Familiarity with Yocto, OpenBMC, IPMI, Redfish, and embedded Linux build environments
Experience with test automation frameworks, CI/CD environments, and hardware debugging equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
Exposure to enterprise computing, cloud infrastructure, data center, networking, or storage technologies
