Are you an experienced Composite Engineer ready to lead the development of next-generation aircraft structures? We are seeking a highly skilled Team Lead Composite Engineer to drive the design, development, certification, and delivery of advanced composite structures in a dynamic aerospace environment. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with team leadership while working on cutting-edge aviation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers involved in composite structure design, development, analysis, testing, and certification.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of composite aerospace structures from concept through certification and production support.

  • Ensure compliance with CS/FAR-23 and/or CS/FAR-25 airworthiness regulations.

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including stress, manufacturing, certification, and program management.

  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and leadership to engineering staff.

  • Support certification activities and liaise with regulatory authorities where required.

  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best engineering practices.

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of aerospace industry experience in composite structures development and certification.

  • Strong knowledge of CS/FAR-23 and/or CS/FAR-25 certification requirements.

  • Proven experience leading engineering teams or technical projects.

  • Extensive background in composite materials, structural design, testing, and validation.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent German and English language skills are essential.

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
