Job description
Scope: Full Time, Employed
Model: Onsite
Location: Be’er Ya’akov
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and verify complex FPGA-based digital solutions for high-performance embedded systems
Define FPGA architectures, establish design methodologies, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
Develop and integrate FPGA modules supporting:
Embedded processing platforms and soft-core processors
High-speed communication and memory interfaces, including DDR, PCIe, SERDES, and JESD204-based links
Integrate FPGA designs within multidisciplinary hardware and software environments
Support product lifecycle activities, including system bring-up, manufacturing support, and field issue resolution
Perform hardware debugging, performance characterization, and validation in laboratory environments
Collaborate with firmware, software, hardware, and system engineering teams to ensure successful solution integration
Create verification environments, develop test benches, and execute functional and timing simulations
Utilize modeling, scripting, and analysis tools such as MATLAB and Python to support design, automation, and verification processes
Contribute to technical reviews, requirements analysis, and continuous improvement of development workflows
Job requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
5+ years of hands-on experience developing complex FPGA solutions in large-scale projects
Proven experience with the complete FPGA development cycle, from design through final system integration
Strong background in developing and executing complex VHDL simulations
Experience debugging FPGA designs in a laboratory environment using JTAG tools and scripting
Proficiency with laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and RF signal generators
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing signal processing algorithms
Working knowledge of MATLAB
Familiarity with Python for verification, automation, or analysis tasks
